During deposition of coatings, the formation of reverse flows containing products of chemical reaction and the non-reacting reagents was possible due to the effect of ejection. As a result, part of the reagents interacted with the surface of the stainless steel screen, which leads to the formation of Fe2Br4 and CrBr2, and the subsequent reduction on the substrate of not only tantalum bromide, but also iron bromide.

An isothermal annealing of the as cast Fe-27Ga alloy formed a microstructure with a different ratio of metastable bcc and equilibrium fcc phases having different magnetic structures and properties. The possibility of stabilizing the metastable D03 phase due to microalloying of Tb is shown. The hypothesis explaining this effect through the competition between nucleation and growth of L12 phase and phase Fe44Ga47Tb9 along the boundaries of dendrites and grains of D03 phases is substantiated.

A model is proposed to describe a change of grain boundaries nonequilibrium state and its diffusive properties during low-temperature annealing of submicrocrystalline materials containing, in the initial state, a system of grain-boundary nano-cavities. It is shown that non-equilibrium state of grain boundaries can be maintained for a long time of low-temperature annealing.

At present work established that, depending on the direction of scratching, the hardness and the AE power exhibit opposite trends, both following the anisotropic properties of a cubic crystal lattice. It is shown that the direction of scratching affects not only the energy of the AE signal, but also its spectral characteristics.
