The structure analysis of the Ni2MnGa alloy by the electron back-scattered diffraction

Abstract

The research of crystallographic structure of Ni2,08Mn0,96Ga0,96 alloy in different states is shown in the work. The alloy was prepared by multiple remelting of ingot. The crystallographic texture of austenitic and mart-ensitic phases of the alloy in cast state was found. There is (100)<001> texture in high-temperature phase. There are (001)<001> and (110)<110> textures in low-temperature phase. After the high-temperature annealing at 6500С dur-ing the 5 hours the texture is lowered for both phases of the alloy.
