Abstract

The complex deformation processing effect on the structure and mechanical properties in the low-carbon steel 05G2MFB is investigated. The complex deformation processing of the low carbon steel was obtained ultrafine-grained (UFG) structure with an average size of grains of 0.4 µm. The formation of UFG structure leads to in to two times increase in strength by comparison to the initial coarse-grained state and allowable ductility.
