The mechanical behavior at shock loading of samples from titanium alloy VT6 with different structural: coarse-crystalline with lamellar morphology of phases (CC), microcrystalline with globular morphology of phases (MC), nanostructure (NS) is analyses. Results of tests showed that alloy in the CC and MC structures have higher level of impact toughness in comparison with nanostructure. With reduction of the size of structural components the work of crack nucleation raises on % 55, work of crack propagation reduces on % 70. Impact toughness decreases on % 20. The picture of fracture reflects significant differences in the nature of fracture of samples from titanium alloy VT6 with different structural.
