The effects of short electric pulses with duration of ~ 100 μs and the current density of ~ 104 A/mm2 on the structure and microhardness of cold-rolled aluminum alloy 1570С were investigated. It is found, that such a treatment activates static recrystallization, resulting in the alloy microhardness decrease and formation of partially recrystallized fine-grained structure with ~3-4 μm grains.
