Abstract

The paper describes the results of long-term investigations related to the development of the technology of superplastic forming and pressure welding (SPF/PW). Part I presents the international experience for processing standard articles of aerospace engineering, such as hollow blades, wing and shell panels. The prospects of development of technology SPF/DB are considered and latest results are discussed.
