Announcement
The Editorial Office of “Letters on Materials” informs that the journal has won a support for development from the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia and National Electonic Information Consortium (NEICON). This gives us the possibility to move towards the status of an international journal. To meet this goal, the Editorial Office announces the folowing measures aimed at an increase of the participation of international authors in the publications of the journal.
1. Growth of the fraction of papers in English. Our goal is to make "Letters on Materials" an international journal by the end of 2019. Therefore, from now priority will be given to the consideration and publication of papers written in English. As a part of this policy, Issue 4 for 2018 will be collected completely in English. We cordially invite international authors to participate actively in this issue.
2. Growth of the fraction of foreign authors. Priority will be given also to papers written by international authors or by Russian researchers in co-authorship with foreign researchers.
3. Publication of reviews on topics of current interest. We plan to publish a review in each issue of the journal. Thus, we also invite international authors to submit review articles. Interested authors are requested to contact deputy editors A.A. Nazarov, R.M. Imayev or S.V. Dmitriev and present a proposal containing the title, authors’ names of the review, a plan (titles of sections), short abstract (up to 0.5 page), approximate number of references (a preliminary list of references is encouraged).
